A note from Leslie:
My career as an artist began while I was studying scenic design at Davidson College. This craft allowed me to imagine and then create the visual elements of a story, while also learning techniques of building and painting. I have learned to paint through trial and error and playing around with mediums and colors. Art to me is a sacred and playful space , where I can practice being in a non-judgemental, flow mindset. Teaching others to be in this creative space is my true passion whether it be through art, theatre, healing, yoga, pilates, mindfulness or meditation classes.
Several of my original cow paintings are hanging at the Mooo Hotel in Prague. I am honored to share my work with the Charlottesville community that has been home to me and my children for 20 years. May my work bring you inner beauty, joy and humor.
Leslie's work is currently on display in our loft area. Proceeds from sales from her collection (both art and clothing) will be donated to the UVA Children's Hospital.
